New Delhi. IndiGo flight 6E 5314 from Chennai to Mumbai was in a panic after a bomb threat was received. The plane made an emergency landing in Mumbai, after which the crew followed protocol and moved the plane to a separate bay as per the guidelines of the security agency. All passengers were evacuated safely and the plane is being thoroughly checked. After all the security checks are completed, the plane will be sent back to the terminal area.
In a similar incident, an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Varanasi recently received a bomb threat, causing a lot of panic. The flight was stopped on the runway and taken to an isolated bay for investigation. Passengers were evacuated through emergency exits and security personnel, including a bomb disposal squad, were immediately deployed at the spot. Despite the scare, all passengers were safe and no casualties were reported.

A shocking incident has come to light from Kerala recently. Here an air hostess has been arrested on charges of smuggling gold. Air India air hostess Surabhi Khatoon is accused of smuggling 960 grams of gold into India by hiding it in her private parts. She was arrested from Kannur Airport in Kerala. Surabhi Khatoon works in Air India Express and was a cabin crew member on a flight from Muscat to Kannur on May 28. Officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized the gold at Kannur Airport. Surabhi Khatoon was later produced before a magistrate and has been sent to 14 days’ custody. According to reports, Surabhi Khatoon has smuggled gold several times before. Sources say that the DRI team is interrogating the air hostess and many more people are likely to be involved in this smuggling racket.
