Indigo Airlines flight from Jaipur Airport to Chandigarh was averted by a major accident in 6E-7742. During the flight, the aircraft suddenly caused technical fault, causing all the passengers on the flight. However, the airlines’ security systems immediately reacted and with the help of the ignition system, both the engines were immediately turned on, after which the aircraft was securely landed.
Details of the event
The incident occurred after flying from Jaipur to Chandigarh. Shortly after the flight, the aircraft suddenly felt technical fault. In this situation, there was a problem in both the engine of the aircraft, making the crew and passengers quite nervous. However, as soon as the problem was detected, the ignition system of the aircraft became activated and both the engines were immediately turned on. The flight was then safely landed.
After a safe landing of the aircraft, all the passengers were taken out of the aircraft and no passenger was hurt. However, this incident proved to be a dreadful experience for the passengers.
DGCA took cognizance
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has immediately ordered an inquiry into the matter after the technical fault in the aircraft. A DGCA official said, “After this incident we have sought detailed information from the concerned airlines and started investigating the case. Security standards should not be violated and it is our responsibility to ensure that such incidents do not happen in future.”

Indigo Airlines has issued its statement on the incident. Airlines spokesman said, “We are fully committed to the safety of our passengers. The incident is being investigated by our Engineering and Operations Department. We regret the passengers for any inconvenience and will take all steps to ensure their safety.”

A passenger aboard the plane said, “During the flight, the aircraft suddenly felt shocks and then the engine began to get voices. There was a lot of fear, but the flight crew handled the situation with a very cold mind. It was a very scary experience.”
