Prakash Guggi, an officer of the Food Safety Department who came for the surprise inspection, said that Anuj Kumar of Hazaribagh had complained that he had bought 56 ​​types of sweets for Rs 1000 for his son’s lunch. But worms were found in these sweets. After this, a surprise inspection was conducted here. After which many samples of this are being collected and sent to Ranchi for testing. He further said that this surprise inspection was done as per the complaint. Apart from this, surprise inspection will be done in many sweet shops in view of the upcoming festivals.

Food expert Abhishek Prasad said that one cannot tell whether the sweets are bad or not just by looking at them. Many times the ingredients used to prepare the sweets are also of poor quality. Which is harmful for health. But apart from all this, before consuming the sweets, one must check that it does not smell. The sweet should not be sticky. The taste of the sweet should not be sour. No unnatural color should be visible in it.
