A case has come up from Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur, which has not only questioned the police recruitment system, but has also revealed the strange mail of love and crime, whose example is found in films only. But here the case is not reel, real – in which an accountant bought the SI recruitment exam paper to make his girlfriend an officer, and is now running away from the law itself.
Dream of making an officer, paper leak came true
Purushottam Dadhich is at the center of the incident, who was an accountant in the Health Department at the time of the incident. He dreamed of making his girlfriend Renu Kumari a police sub -inspector (SI) and adopted a shortcut to fulfill that dream. It is alleged that Purushottam spent Rs 15 lakh and bought the SI recruitment exam paper, which passed the Renu examination and became a sub -inspector.
But ‘twist’ came in love
The real turn in the story came when the Special Operation Group (SOG) started the investigation of the SI recruitment exam paper leak case. Investigation revealed that the success that Renu had got was not the result of any hard work, but the result of paper leaks.
When Renu was arrested in October 2024, he confessed during interrogation that the paper was made by Purushottam Dadhich. After this, Purushottam tried to prove himself innocent and filed a petition in the Rajasthan High Court demanding the cancellation of the FIR.
Court rejected petition, fined 50 thousand
Purushottam claimed that he went to surrender to the CJM court in April 2025, but the court did not take him into custody. But the government lawyer told the court that there is no such record. When the petitioner could not prove the claim, Justice Sameer Jain not only dismissed the petition, but also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000.
Now accused absconding, arrest warrant issued
Following the High Court’s decision, the police has issued an arrest warrant against Purushottam. He is absconding and the police is looking for him. Also, on the basis of report, he has also been suspended from government service and his salary has been discontinued.
This case shows that when the crime flourishes under the guise of love, its result is fatal for both society and system. Purushottam’s imitation ‘Premkahani’ is now going to be caught by law, and this is a big message – honesty in love, not paper leaks.
