According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, this storm will be from 7 am to noon in the South West of England and from 10 am to 3 pm in South-East England and London. The head of the Meteorological Department, Pal Gunderson, said that the government is alert about this storm. The government has discussed the preparations for rescue from this storm in the meeting of the Cobra Emergency Committee.
Many flights have also been canceled due to this storm. About 170 flights have been canceled in the Netherlands. Dutch airline KLM has canceled 167 flights for Friday because of Hurricane Ionis. The company said in a statement that due to stormy weather, flights from Schiphol airport are likely to be disrupted. Due to which these flights have been cancelled.
