President’s Police Medal: On the occasion of 78th Independence Day, it has been announced that three brave soldiers of Border Security Force (BSF) will be awarded President’s Medal for bravery posthumously. On this Independence Day, a total of 56 officers and soldiers of BSF have been selected for the President’s Police Medal. In this, 6 officers and soldiers have been announced to be awarded President’s Police Medal for bravery, 4 brave soldiers have been awarded President’s Police Medal for distinguished services and 46 brave soldiers have been announced to be awarded President’s Police Medal for commendable services.
