– 26000 crores for building highways in Bihar. New airports will also be built in Bihar. Financial help of 15000 crores to Andhra Pradesh.

-Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is going to create a record of presenting the budget for the 7th consecutive time today. Before her, Morarji Desai had the record of presenting 6 budgets including 1 interim budget. Before presenting the budget, the Finance Minister will meet President Draupadi Murmu and give her information about it. Then the budget will be approved in the cabinet meeting in Parliament House.
-It is expected that the Finance Minister can increase the standard deduction from 50000 to 1 lakh. Apart from this, the middle class and the working class also hope that the saving limit of 1.5 lakhs under Section 80C of Income Tax can be increased to 2 lakhs. The middle class and the working class are also hoping that the basic tax exemption will be increased to 5 lakhs instead of 3 lakhs.
-In the budget for the year 2023-24, 2.40 lakh crores were given to the Railways. Whereas, when Nirmala Sitharaman presented the interim budget in February, she had talked about giving 2.52 lakh crores to the Railways. This is 75 percent more than 2022. Before the Lok Sabha elections, BJP had made this promise in its manifesto. Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is available every year.
-Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s budget may focus on providing education, defence and employment.
-PM Kisan Samman Nidhi can be increased from Rs 6000 to Rs 8000 annually.
-The Finance Minister can make changes in the old pension scheme and announce giving 50 percent pension of the last salary to the government employees.
-An announcement regarding increasing the number of working days under MNREGA and increasing the amount given daily under it may also be made in the budget.
