Hamirpur. Nirmala Sitharaman, minister in Modi Government 3.0 (Nirmala Sitarama 2024) She is going to present the budget on Tuesday. In such a situation, the eyes of the whole country are fixed on her. Himachal Pradesh is keeping an eye on the budget and it is expected that Himachal Pradesh, which was disappointed in the last two budgets, will make up for it. (Himachal Pradesh) Himachal Pradesh will get something from the finance minister’s kitty. Himachal Pradesh is expected to get some announcement regarding the railway line and tourism sector.

Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said in a statement that property worth more than Rs 10,000 crore was damaged in the last monsoon season and in such a situation, the Himachal government is expecting an interest-free loan from the Center. Along with this, the Himachal government is also demanding Rs 3500 crore for Gaggal Airport in Kangra. However, CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu did not attend the pre-budget consultation meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Industry Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan went in his place. He met the Union Finance Minister and placed seven demands, which included matters like rail connectivity, infrastructure as well as apple excise duty.

On the other hand, people in Hamirpur also expressed their opinion about the budget. Former president of Hamirpur Nagar Parishad Deep Bajaj said that this is the first budget of the third term of the Modi government and this time the budget will be for farmers and unemployed. Local youth Munna said that we have seen two budgets of the Modi government before this, but there was nothing special for Himachal. He said that the youth in Himachal Pradesh should get employment and he said that there should be amendments in the Agniveer scheme as well. Along with this, Agniveers should also get the status of martyr.

Local shopkeeper Jaswant says that the central government should ban online business because it is reducing the income of traders and small shopkeepers. Ever since online business has come, the work of small shopkeepers has come to a standstill. Local shopkeeper Surendra says that Himachal Pradesh should get the status of a special state and in view of the increasing unemployment, industry should also be promoted here. Joginder said that employment should be available to the people. Apart from this, Subhash Verma said that there are issues like roti, kapda aur makaan and along with that there are issues like health, unemployment, inflation, education. The government should pay attention to all these issues.
