Hindustan Zinc said in an exchange filing on August 20 that the company’s board of directors in an important meeting held today has recommended a dividend of Rs 19 for each share with a face value of Rs 2 for the financial year 2024-25 for the shareholders.

The company said that this will be the second interim dividend of this year, under which the company will distribute a dividend of Rs 8028.11 crore among the investors. Hindustan Zinc told BSE and NSE that the record date for this dividend to be given to the shareholders has been fixed on Wednesday, August 28.
The company’s shares were trading with a gain of 1.66 percent on Tuesday
Let us tell you that today i.e. on Tuesday, Hindustan Zinc’s shares were trading at Rs 504.00 with a gain of Rs 8.25 (1.66 percent) at 12.31 pm. On Monday, the company’s shares closed at Rs 495.75 and opened at the same price on Tuesday without any change. During today’s trading, the company’s shares had traveled from the day low of Rs 495.75 to the day high of Rs 505.70.
