BJP and Congress fielded candidates
After the completion of the Lok Sabha elections, by-elections are now to be held in many states. Many other parties including the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress have started announcing the names of their candidates. On Monday, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress have announced the candidates. The BJP has released the list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Punjab and West Bengal. The BJP has nominated Sheetal Angural from Jalandhar West (SC) assembly seat in Punjab.
BJP fielded candidates in West Bengal
Along with this, BJP has announced candidates for the by-elections to be held in 4 assembly seats of West Bengal. BJP has nominated Manas Kumar Ghosh from Raiganj assembly seat of West Bengal. Manoj Kumar Biswas has been given ticket from Ranaghat South (SC). Binay Kumar Biswas from Bagda (SC) seat and Kalyan Chaubey from Maniktala assembly seat have been made BJP candidates.
Congress fielded candidates on 2 seats each in Himachal and Uttarakhand
Congress has released the list of candidates for by-elections in two assembly seats each in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Congress has nominated Dr. Pushpendra Verma for the Harmirpur assembly by-election in Himachal. Hardeep Singh Bawa has been fielded for the Nalagarh assembly by-election. Lakhpat Butola has been nominated as the party candidate for the by-election in the Badrinath assembly seat in Uttarakhand. Congress has given ticket to Qazi Nizamuddin for the Mangalore assembly seat in Uttarakhand.
Mohinder Bhagat will contest the election on AAP ticket
Aam Aadmi Party has nominated Mohinder Bhagat for the by-election to be held in Jalandhar West assembly seat of Punjab. Let us tell you that this time Aam Aadmi Party has won three seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Aam Aadmi Party is also in power in Punjab.
