All About Kidney Stone: The problem of kidney stones is increasing rapidly these days. A large number of youth are facing the problem of kidney stones. This problem occurs due to unhealthy diet, lifestyle without physical activity and not drinking enough water. In many cases, increase in uric acid also leads to formation of kidney stones. Due to kidney stones, people start facing problems like severe pain, obstruction in urination, fever, vomiting, nausea and decline in kidney functioning. Sometimes the stone damages the kidney. In such a situation, no carelessness should be taken regarding this. However, sometimes kidney stones pass out through urine without treatment. Now the question is, what size stone can come out through urine and when is surgery required?

The biggest reason for kidney stones is lack of water in the body. Not drinking enough water causes the problem of kidney stones. Consuming too much salt can also lead to the formation of stones. Many times, small stones keep forming in the kidneys of people and are passed out through urine. However, in many cases the stone gets stuck in the ureter or bladder, which has to be removed through surgery. Generally, kidney stones of size 5 mm or less can easily be passed out through urine, whereas stones larger than 5 mm are less likely to be passed out through urine.
Dr. Prashant Kumar says that sometimes even a 10 mm stone comes out through urine on its own, but this is seen only in very few cases. If a kidney stone gets stuck in the ureter or bladder, it can cause blood in the urine and swelling or infection in the kidney. In such a condition surgery may be required. When the kidney stone gets stuck in the ureter or bladder, then the doctor performs surgery and breaks it with a laser and takes it out. According to the doctor, if the size of the kidney stone is 20 mm or more, then it should be removed soon, otherwise the kidney may get damaged.
Now the question is how can kidney stones be removed naturally? On this the doctor said that kidney stone patients should drink 3-4 liters of water every day and reduce salt intake. Such patients should eat as much fruits and vegetables as possible. Such people should exercise for 30 minutes to 1 hour daily. Through sweating during physical activity, salt gets removed from our body and the risk of stone formation is reduced. If a person has the problem of kidney stones, then a doctor must be consulted.
