Case Construction Equipment, a brand of CNH Industrial, inaugurated the Skill Development Centre. The objective of this center is to provide good understanding and training about the operation of loader backhoe. This initiative contributes to the Skill India Mission of the Central Government by training 240 professionals every year. This 1200 sq ft training center includes theory classes and two classes dedicated to counseling.
This center is located in Sonwai, Rau, Pithampur. It was inaugurated by Mr. RK Bhavar, CGM, MPIDC, Ms. Lata Kinwani, Advisor, State Skill Development Corporation, Mr. Pradeep Madhukar, Principal Nodal ITI, Mr. Ram Kisan Solanki, Sarpanch, Sonwai, Mr. Abhijit Gupta, Head of Product Development, Case Construction India. , Mr. Satendra Tiwari – Plant Head, Mr. Puneet Vidyarthi – Head Marketing and Business Development, and other senior officials from Case Construction India.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Satendra Tiwari, Plant Head – Case Construction, India said, “We are delighted to announce the establishment of the Centre, which aims to support and advance the learning ambitions of the people. Dedicated not only to develop their capabilities, but also to help them find employment and develop their soft skills for any future opportunities.We are confident that this skill development center will be a great tool for all our trainees. will add value to it.”
Applicants in the age group of 18 to 35 years who are minimum class VIII passed and can apply for enrollment in this training centre. Applicant should be holder of LMV Commercial Driving License. Training and residential facility will be provided free of cost. Trainees can be employed with CNH dealers/customers or other loader backhoe dealers/construction sites. The employability of the trainees will depend on the placement opportunities available within the district or state. Already 30 trainees have been enrolled in this program and the first batch will start soon.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Mr. Puneet Vidyathi, Head – Marketing and Business Development – Case Construction, India and SAARC said, “Case India aims to empower youth from rural community and provide business opportunities to trainees through this initiative. committed to. Through Loader Backhoe Skill Development Programme, we will help the trainees to find employment in the ecosystem through case dealer partners, vendors and suppliers or other potential opportunities in the industry within the district or state. We look forward to making a difference in the lives of young individuals in the construction equipment and related industry, and hope to have a positive impact on many families.”
This training program will be conducted for minimum mandatory hours prescribed by the Infrastructure Equipment Sector Skill Council and will be conducted as per the general norms and notification issued by the Ministry of Skill and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. The major categories that the program will be broadly divided into are – Technical Skills, Product and Process Knowledge, Health and Safety, Soft Skill Grooming Soft Skill Grooming such as Interpersonal Skills, Personal Management, Work Life Sensitivity and Life Skills.
The program will also provide periodic assessment in the form of basic computer knowledge assessment and certification, a post-training course which will be conducted by experts and industry professionals from Case India. All trainees will be assessed and certified by the Infrastructure Equipment Sector Skill Council Roles and Responsibilities.
Case offers a complete range of construction equipment in the country and is a leader in the vibratory compactor segment. The company manufactures Made-in-India products for the domestic and export markets from its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.
