New Delhi (CAT 2024 Exam Date). The full form of CAT exam is Common Admission Test. It is necessary to pass CAT exam for admission in top management institute IIM. Many other management institutes also give admission through CAT score. Last year more than 3 lakh youth gave CAT exam. Without CAT score it is not possible to do MBA from top B school of India. You can appear for CAT exam after completing graduation degree from any stream (MBA Entrance Exam). This year the CAT exam is likely to be held on November 24. Where will I get admission after passing CAT?
By taking the CAT exam, you can get admission in 21 IIMs of India as well as more than 1200 B-schools i.e. business schools. If you want to take the CAT exam this year, then you should start preparing for it seriously now. The online application process for CAT 2024 is expected to start in the first week of August. 1- CAT Fees: How much will be the fees for CAT exam?
For CAT 2024, general category candidates will have to deposit Rs 2400 as fee and reserved category candidates will have to deposit Rs 1200.
2- CAT Eligibility Criteria: Who can take CAT exam?
To appear for CAT exam, the candidate must be a graduate with a total of 50% marks. For SC/ST students, the eligibility criteria is 45% marks.

CAT exam focuses on 3 subjects – Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Aptitude (QA).

CAT 2024 is a CBT mode (computer based) exam. A total of 66 questions (MCQs and non-MCQs) will be asked in it. The time allotted for the CAT exam is 2 hours.

CAT exam will be of total 198 marks. In this, 3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer. Whereas, 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. There will be no negative marking for non-MCQ and unanswered questions.
