CBI registered a case in UGC-NET paper leak case
After the leak of the UGC-NET exam papers, the exam has been canceled. There is now a ruckus on this matter. On the other hand, politics has also been intensified by political parties. Meanwhile, the CBI has now registered a regular case in the case of UGC NET 2024 exam. The CBI has registered a case under sections 120B (conspiracy), 420 (cheating) of the IPC and investigation of the case has started. What is written in the complaint received by CBI?
In this case, the CBI received a written complaint from the Ministry of Education. This complaint has been made by Secretary Sanjay Murthy on 20 June 2024. In this complaint, Sanjay Murthy said that the UGC NET 2024 exam was conducted by the National Testing Agency i.e. NTA on 18 June 2024 in two different shifts. On June 19, the University Grants Commission i.e. UGC received such inputs from the National Cyber Crime Threat Analysis Unit that this exam has been compromised. That is, there was a suspicion that something wrong has happened in the exam.
CBI is investigating the case
On the basis of this complaint, the CBI has registered a case against unknown people under sections 120B and 420 of the IPC. CBI Inspector Sunil Kumar has started investigating the matter. Let us tell you that on the evening of June 20, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan held a press conference. In this press conference, he said that the Government of India assures that the future of the students will not be tampered with. He said that the NEET exam will not be canceled. Regarding the UGC NET exam, he said that information about the disturbance in the UGC NET exam was received yesterday afternoon. As soon as it became clear that the UGC-NET question paper on the dark net matches the original question paper of UGC NET, we decided to cancel the exam.
