CBI registered a case in the rape case of a female doctor

The Calcutta High Court had ordered a CBI inquiry into the rape and murder of a female doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College. The CBI is now investigating this case. The CBI has registered a case in this matter at the Delhi headquarters. Tomorrow a team of CBI officers will reach Calcutta with doctors and forensic experts and will investigate the scene of the incident. Let us tell you that earlier an SIT was formed by the West Bengal government to investigate this case. While hearing this case, the Calcutta High Court had ordered the state government to hand over the investigation of this case and related documents to the CBI.

What is the whole matter?

It is noteworthy that on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday (9 August), a woman doctor was raped in Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College. Not only this, the accused also killed the victim after raping her. The victim was a PG second year student and was studying specialization in chest diseases. At the time when this incident happened, she was on night duty in the hospital itself. After having dinner with the junior doctors at 2 o’clock in the night, she went to the seminar hall. At 6 o’clock in the morning, the body of the woman doctor was found in a semi-nude state here.

Criminal arrested through Bluetooth

There was an uproar as soon as the body of the female doctor was found in a semi-nude state. After this, when the matter reached the police, the CCTV footage of the hospital was examined. After the incident, a person was seen going to the seminar hall at four in the morning in the CCTV. The police also found a Bluetooth earphone near the woman’s body. Through the Bluetooth earphone, the police traced the culprit. The police also checked the accused’s phone by connecting it to his Bluetooth. After this, the accused confessed to the crime. Let us tell you that the police also found obscene videos in the accused’s phone. Since this incident came to light, doctors’ protests are continuing across the country. At the same time, patients are facing problems due to this.
