The CBI has started investigation in the NEET exam paper leak case by moving fast. According to sources, a fresh FIR has been registered under this. The CBI will now investigate the matter by taking a copy of the FIR and the case diary from Patna and Gujarat Police. The CBI has registered a new case against unknown persons. The investigation of the alleged irregularities, fraud, cheating that came to light in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) has been handed over to the CBI on Saturday night itself.

Sources say that the CBI has registered a new case against unknown persons on the ‘reference’ of the Union Ministry of Education. Once again, let us tell you that about 24 lakh students have taken the medical entrance examination. Officials said that the ministry had to accept the demand of the students protesting in many cities to investigate all these cheating and irregularities.

A senior official of the Ministry of Education said that some cases of alleged irregularities, cheating have come to light in the NEET-UG held on May 5. Earlier, amid the continuous criticism in the paper leak case, the Center has removed NTA Director General Subodh Kumar Singh from his post.
