Bhilwara. The CBN has achieved another success on 27 March 2025 as part of a campaign being carried out by Superintendent (Preventive) Deputy Narcotics Commissioner Office, Kota (Raj) to ban the smuggling of illegal substances. Deputy Narcotics Commissioner, Kota King Bundel said that as part of the campaign, officials of the Central Narcotics Bureau (CBN) Chittorgarh Cell in front of the water park in front of the water park, Chittorgarh-Bhilwara highway, Tehsil-Gangrar, District Chittorgarh (Rajasthan) were successfully rocked by a splendor plus motorcycle on 27.03.2025 at Chittorgarh-Bhilwara highway, Tehsil-Gingrar, District Chittorgarh (Rajasthan). 02.349 kg illegal opium was recovered and one person has been arrested. He said that CBN received information that a person would smuggle illegal opium using the Splendor Plus motorcycle of Rajasthan through Chittorgarh-Bhilwara Road.
After this, the officials team of CBN, Chittorgarh Cell kept a strict monitoring on the suspected route and after identifying the said vehicle, the said vehicle successfully stopped and recovered a total of 02.349 kg of illegal opium. The opium recovered after completing the legal formality was confiscated and under the relevant provisions of the NDPS Act 1985, a person has been arrested.
