New Delhi . The Mahakumbh Mela is associated with the spiritual and cultural heritage of India. The Union Ministry of Education organized an all -India drawing and painting competition on the subject of “Mahakumbh Mela 2025”. About 68,000 students participated in it.
Now the results of this competition have been declared. The competition was organized for students from Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas and Central Board of Secondary Education from across the country. The competition was based on three main subjects, grand Mahakumbh, Divya Mahakumbh and Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.
It encouraged originality and creativity. Its purpose was to explain this sacred event, the rich cultural traditions and values of India. It was also an attempt to assimilate the sense of unity in the student diversity. The important event of Mahakumbh was held from 13 January to 26 February.
Students had a huge participation in the Union Ministry of Education competition. It had 39,840 students 1,040 Kendriya Vidyalayas, 26,398 students 404 Navodaya Vidyalayas and 2,887 students from 1,000 CBSE schools.
These entries were screened at the national level by nodal officials of KVS, NVS and CBSE. The best entries were selected in two stages. In the first phase, the primary level was selected through screening committees by the nodal officers and in the second phase, the final selection was made from the Screening Committee by NCERT.
Vivek Sharma of Ajmer, Rajasthan received the first prize in the drawing competition. Vivek, a student of Maheshwari Public School, Vaishali Nagar, was given a prize of Rs 15,000. Second prize, Lakshraj Jorwaj received, he is from PM Shri, NVS, Kherli, District Dausa, Rajasthan. He was given Rs 10,000 with the award. Avnish Nand received a third prize of Rs 7,000. He is from PM Shri, NVS, Village Bahuar, District Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh.
In the painting competition, the first prize of Rs 15,000 was received by a student of Lavanya Thakur, PM Shri, KV No.1, Binnaguri Cantt, West Bengal. Myra Godwaz received a second prize of Rs 10,000. He is from Bharat Ram Global School, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The third prize is won by Anushka Das. He is from KV Bolpur, Britisadan, Provincial, West Bengal.
Apart from this, the Ministry has also given ten consolation prizes.
