Jaipur, . Chairman Discoms and Managing Director of Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ms. Aarti Dogra have given instructions to end the pendency of pending industrial electricity connections soon. He said that the Executive Engineers in the field should regularly monitor the applications for industrial connections at the division level and ensure that connections are issued promptly in all eligible applications.
Dogra was reviewing the outstanding industrial connections through video conference with the executive engineers working in the field of Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam at Vidyut Bhawan on Monday. During this, he discussed the outstanding status of section and sub-section wise connections and its reasons with all the executive engineers one by one.
Discom Chairman said that applications for industrial connections in Jaipur City and Jaipur District Circle should not remain pending for more than two weeks. If there is any deficiency at the level of the applicant then list him immediately and inform him or issue a notice so that the required documents can be supplied by the applicant. He also directed to make the site verification process by JEN quick and easy for connection. He said that the Executive Engineer should specially monitor all those sub-division offices in his jurisdiction where due to any reason, more applications for industrial, domestic, non-domestic or agricultural electricity connections are pending.
Ms. Dogra said that circle wise nodal officers have been appointed to supervise connections and other works from the headquarters level. These nodal officers will visit the districts and also review the status of outstanding domestic, non-domestic, industrial and agricultural connections. On this occasion, Technical Director of Jaipur Discom Mr. S.S. Nehra, Additional Chief Engineer TS&QC Mr. AK Tyagi and other officers were also present.
