Prayagraj. The festival of Chaitra Navratri is going to start from 30 March, in which nine forms of Maa Durga are worshiped and worshiped. For these nine days, devotees go to temples and worship various forms of Maa Durga.
There are 51 major Shaktipeeths across the country, where a large number of devotees gather during the festival of Navratri. In this sequence, preparations are going on loudly in the Siddhpeeth and Shaktipeeth temples of Prayagraj. There is an influx of devotees here for nine days of Navratri. There are long queues of devotees to see Maa Kalyani from morning to evening. According to religious beliefs, the finger of Goddess Sati fell in this temple, due to which it is considered one of the 51 Shaktipeeths.
Shaktipeeth Maa Kalyani Devi Temple General Secretary Pandit Shyam Ji Pathak while talking to said that preparations have been almost completed from Maa Kalyani Devi temple gate to the entire complex. All the cleaning works including mother’s jewelery have been completed. Chaitra Navratri is starting from 30 March. This time it is an eight -day Navratri. In these eight days, devotees will receive visions of Maa Bhagwati in different forms. Here Manas recitation is the recitation of Durga Saptashati, rituals, anointing of the mother and a thousand flowers have a program of wreath of the mother. There are changes every day.
He further said that on the first day, mothers resolve to keep the fast with the establishment of Kalash. Women worship the mother and also resolve to keep a fast for nine days.
