Bhopal. The Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh has given a big gift to the women involved in the Ladli Behna scheme of the state. In the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Mohan Yadav, it has been decided that the women involved in the Ladli Behna scheme in Madhya Pradesh will now get LPG cylinder for only Rs 450. The Madhya Pradesh government has made a provision of Rs 160 crore for this scheme.
Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav has continued the scheme of providing cheap LPG cylinders of former CM and now Agriculture Minister in Modi government Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Before the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, Shivraj Singh Chauhan had announced to provide LPG cylinders to Ladli sisters for Rs 450. Earlier, CM Mohan Yadav had announced that Ladli sisters will be given Rs 250 extra every month. Earlier, women covered under the Ladli Behna Yojana in Madhya Pradesh were getting Rs 1250 every month. Now, Rs 1500 will come to their bank account every month. Shivraj Singh Chauhan also started the scheme of sending money to the accounts of women under the Ladli Behna Yojana. He had promised that gradually the amount of the scheme will be increased to Rs 3000 in the accounts of women.

In the recently held Lok Sabha elections, the Ladli Behna Yojana had such an impact that BJP won all 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh. Congress even lost in Chhindwara, the home district of former CM and Congress’s strong leader Kamal Nath. After becoming CM, Mohan Yadav had made it clear that he would give more benefits to women under the Ladli Behna Yojana. So that they can become economically and socially strong.
