Eligible candidates should apply soon for Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana. The benefits of this scheme will start from next month August. But it is necessary to get registered for the scheme. Now only 2 days are left for registration. If this work is not done by 31st July, then one will have to wait for three months to avail the benefits of the scheme. All the deprived families of the district can get registered through their SSO ID or e-mitra. So that the benefits of the scheme can be availed from 1st August 2024.

CMHO Dr. Gaurav Kapoor gave information about the scheme. He said that more and more people should register in this scheme and get free from the huge expenses and worries of treatment. After getting registered, he and his family will get free treatment. Along with this, accident insurance will also be available free of cost. In the scheme, the government will bear the insurance premium for the destitute and helpless families receiving National Food Security, Socio Economic Caste Census-2011, small and marginal farmers, contract workers and Covid-19 ex-gratia amount.

The government will also pay the insurance premium of economically weaker families whose annual income is less than 8 lakhs. Apart from this, all other families can avail the benefits of this scheme by paying a premium of just Rs 850. Such families should get registered by July 31 so that they can start getting benefits from August 1.
