Chandigarh Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini visited the Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan at Noor Mahal in Jalandhar, Punjab on Thursday and attended the Guru Purnima program held there. Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu was also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister bowed to the picture of Ashutoshji Maharaj, the revered Ashutosh Ji Maharaj of Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan and took his blessings to all the devotees on Guru Purnima.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that this auspicious day gives us an opportunity to express gratitude to those great gurus, who showed us the right direction to live life by giving light of knowledge. The Chief Minister also visited Kamadhenu Gaushala located in the institute campus and participated in cow worship and cow service.
After this, the Chief Minister reached Baba Mohan Das Ashram, Jalandhar and attained blessings of Baba Mohan Das Ji Maharaj. He said that it is a privilege for me that all of us have gathered today on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. I have been associated with Guruji for a long time and have been taking his blessings every year.
The Chief Minister said that on this day we should take another resolution and everyone must plant a tree under the campaign “One tree mother’s name” campaign. Our environment is constantly getting polluted, and we are becoming dependent on air conditioners day by day. In such a situation, it is necessary that we plant trees according to the teachings of our gurus and saints, so that the environmental balance can be faced as well as the challenge of climate change.
The Chief Minister said that on the occasion of Guru Purnima, we should take a pledge that we will work for the good of the society and the nation by following the path shown by the gurus and saints in our lives.
Subsequently, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini also visited Dera Sachkhand Ballan, Jalandhar and took blessings of Matha Tech there. He was warmly welcomed by Dera Management and Sant Samaj.
The Chief Minister bowed to the teachings of Guru Ravidas ji and said that his message of equality, peace and social harmony is still inspiring generations. He appreciated the work being done by Dera in the field of social welfare, education and healthcare.
The Chief Minister stressed the need to preserve the spiritual heritage and promote social unity, assuring that the government would provide all possible support in the efforts being made by such holy institutions.

While going to Jalandhar, Chief Minister stopped convoy in Jamsher village, meets local shopkeepers and villagers
On the way to Jalandhar, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini stopped his convoy in Jamsher village and met the villagers, including a local shopkeeper there. The Chief Minister got out of the vehicle and reached among the villagers, greeted everyone affectionately and went to their well -being. Also, inquired about local problems. The villagers spoke openly with the Chief Minister, shared their problems and expressed happiness of this intimate dialogue and simplicity and simple nature of the Chief Minister.
