Jaipur. Rajasthani Teej Utsav 2025 was inaugurated by Rajasthan Chief Secretary and Chief Residential Commissioner Sudhansh Pant on Wednesday at Bikaner House in New Delhi. This weekly Teejotsav, which runs till July 30, will also organize stalls and food festivals of handmade products by Rajivika and Ruda.
At the inauguration of the fair, Pant said that this fair will also get a chance to get a colorful style, cultural heritage, handicraft products, traditional music, dance, delicious dishes and culture of Rajasthan. He said that a special ‘Rajsakhi app/portal’ has been created by the government for online purchases to promote Rajasthani handicrafts products, where local artisans can display their belongings for sale in the country. Pant said that Rajivika, along with Ruda self-help groups, is doing better work to bring Rajasthani handicraft to the people.
Residential Commissioner Jogaram said that ‘Teej festival is a celebration of our rich cultural heritage and traditions. It offers a unique platform to Rajasthan’s colorful art and craft, where artists perform their extraordinary skills.
On this occasion, Rajivika’s State Mission Director Neha Giri said that this handicraft fair will showcase outstanding art and craftsmanship by Rajivika. He said that this Croft Mela is not just an exhibition, but a celebration of the skills and creativity of the women craftsmen of Rajasthan. This offers them an opportunity to reach a comprehensive audience and promote livelihood.
Additional Residential Commissioner Anju Omprakash informed that different programs will be presented daily in this festival which runs from 11 am to 9 am. On July 24, Henna Ramp Walk, Rajasthani Dance and Singing Competition, Lamon Spoon Race, Tug of India on 28th and Kho-Kho and Turban tie competition on 29 July will be organized.

At the time of observation of the festival, famous fashion designer Ruma Devi also congratulated Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant on Teejotsav and Rakshabandhan.
Cultural evening organized by Rajasthan tourism
After the inauguration of Teejotsav, a cultural evening was organized by the Rajasthan Tourism Department. On this occasion, Assistant Director of Tourism Department Chhatarpal Yadav said that folk artists from various regions of Rajasthan presented their presentations on Mashk Khadan, Rim Bhavai dance, Mayur dance, Phool Ki Holi, Chari and Ghoomar dance, Bhapang playing and took all the visitors. He informed that cultural evenings will also be organized on 27 and 28 July.
On this occasion, Indian Administrative Service officer V. Srinivas, Naresh Pal Gangwar, Shreya Guha, Rohit Kumar, Ashutosh Padnekar, Siddharth Mahajan, PC Kishan, Manisha Arora KV Vandana, Preeti Jain, Rajesh Nirvana, Adarsh Siddhu, Vijay Meena, Mukut Bihari and residents of Tamil Nadu were also present.
