One such plant is Chilbil, which is used in many diseases. Chilbil, full of medicinal properties, is no less than a Sanjeevani herb for the body. Its tasty fruits cure many diseases in a moment. Due to not knowing its importance and use, people ignore it. It is also known as Desi Papdi.

Dr. Priyanka Singh, a medical officer with seven years of experience (MD and PhD in Medicine) at the Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Nagar Ballia, told Local 18 that this is a very important tree. It is known as Chilbil. It is no less than a Sanjeevani herb for the body. Its fruit has leaves on the edges, in the middle of which there is this small fruit. Which tastes very delicious like almond. Its powder is very expensive, which is available for more than Rs 4000 per kg. Let’s know the benefits of Chilbil from Dr. Priyanka.

These are the many benefits
1- Relief in constipation and diabetes: The problem of constipation can be cured by making a decoction of the bark of the Chilbil tree and drinking 10 to 20 ml.
2- Stomach ache: Mixing 5 to 10 ml juice of Chilbil leaves with honey and licking it kills stomach worms and provides relief from stomach pain.
3- Piles: Consuming the powder of Chilbil fruit with warm water provides great relief in bloody piles.
4- Relief in joint pain: Grinding its leaves and applying them on the affected area provides relief from pain and swelling.
5- Relief in Filariasis (Elephantiasis): Drinking 10 to 15 ml of Chilbil leaves juice mixed with 5 to 10 ml of mustard oil provides relief from filariasis.
6- Effective in boils, pimples and wounds: By making powder of its bark and spraying or applying it, one gets relief from boils, pimples, wounds and skin diseases.
7- Eliminate body odor: By making a paste of tamarind seeds and chilbil fruit and applying it on the body, the foul smell caused by sweat goes away.
8- Bleeding from nose and ears: By making powder of Chilbil fruit and consuming it with honey, the problem of bleeding from nose and ears is cured.
