Children asked Mohan Bhagwat, 'Why did you not become the PM of the country?' The RSS chief gave this answer

Amroha. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat attended the Shrimad Dayanand Kanya Gurukul College located in Chotipura village of Rajabpur area of Amroha district on Tuesday. He took part in the Yagya. He blessed 134 girls of the college after their Upanayan ceremony. He planted an Ashoka tree in the college premises. He also had lunch and rested. After this, he took part in the cultural program at 2 pm, where the girls of the college presented one cultural program after another.

The girls displayed their talent in Geeta Samvaad, Geeta Gaurav Gatha etc. After this, the RSS chief answered the questions of the girls. A student asked, ‘Why do you want to tell about your impressive performance?
Because of your personality, besides being the leader of RSS, you could have become the Prime Minister of the country or could have achieved other senior posts in the country, but why did you not do so?’

Sangh chief told why he did not become PM?
Responding to the question, the Sangh Pramukh said, ‘All of us sitting here in RSS are like this. We have not come here to become something. We have come here to dedicate our entire life to the Sangh. Otherwise, a man cannot leave his home. We thought what is our existence. We have to work with complete immersion in the country so that it can be built. My wish is to run this branch well, I do not have any desire or aspiration. Whoever is kept as the Sangh keeps him, he remains like that. As individuals, we are nothing. As a Sangh, we have left everything.
