China is constantly strengthening its army against India and is busy in preparations. In this sequence, China is trying to land an army on Pakistan’s soil so that if needed, it can use soldiers from Pakistan’s soil against India. China’s top diplomat Yang Jiechi was on a visit to Islamabad a few days ago and insisted on landing Chinese troops in Pakistan.
News18 reports that Yang Jiechi is an influential member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and is known as the regime’s top troubleshooter as director of the Central Committee on Foreign Affairs. Yang Jiechi is considered the architect of Beijing’s 21st century foreign policy and reports directly to Chinese President Xi Jinping.
China also wants to encircle India from Pakistan’s soil by landing its troops in Pakistan, so that if it is needed in future, China can also use Pakistan’s soil against India. Sources said that Yang Jiechi offered another 40-50 billion dollars to Pakistan for Chinese military posts.
Diplomatic sources told News18 that Yang Jiechi’s visit to Pakistan suggests that he may have traveled with a special mission to convince his ally Islamabad (Pakistan) about the need for Chinese posts in the country. Sources said that China is particularly concerned about the security of CPEC (China-Pak Economic Corridor Project) projects in Balochistan.
Yang Jiechi reminded Pak Army Chief Bajwa that Beijing (China) has invested more than $60 billion, but CPEC projects are still incomplete and trade through Gwadar is yet to start. Baloch separatists say they have been fighting for decades for a greater share in regional mines and mineral resources and therefore attack everything that is in China’s interest.
