India China: PM Modi recently visited Arunachal Pradesh. During this period he had inaugurated projects worth thousands of crores of rupees. The most special among these was the longest tunnel Sela Pass. This is the world’s highest tunnel built at 13000 feet. Arunachal is shocked by this visit of PM Modi and the gift of thousands of crores of rupees. The situation in China has become like a ‘snitch cat scratching a pillar’. China has lodged a protest with India regarding his visit.
China falsely claimed its rights over Arunachal Pradesh and said that this move by India will only complicate the border disputes. This is not the first time that China has made such a claim, it has been making false claims earlier also during the visit of Indian leaders to Arunachal. India has vehemently rejected these claims.
China’s objection to PM’s visit to Arunachal
During a press conference on Monday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin expressed objection to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday. He said that Janganan (Arunachal Pradesh) area is Chinese territory. China has never recognized the so-called Arunachal Pradesh illegally established by India and firmly opposes it. He said that the China-India border question has not been resolved yet.
Know what China’s spokesperson said?
India has no right to arbitrarily develop China’s Jangnan area. Spokesperson Wang Wenbin further said such moves by India would only further complicate the border dispute. He said that the Dragon is dissatisfied with the visit of the Indian leader to the eastern part of the India-China border and opposes it. PM Modi visited Arunachal Pradesh last Saturday and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth thousands of crores.
