Let us tell you that till the beginning of the year 1990, there were many cinema halls in the valley, but with the increase in the incidents of terrorists in Kashmir, all the cinema halls there were closed. Although during 1999-2000, the government tried to reopen some cinema halls. But they also started becoming terrorist targets. Due to which the cinema hall was closed again. But today i.e. on 20 September 2022, the government has tried to give a befitting reply to the terrorists by re-opening the cinema hall in the valley.
