At least four people were injured in the violence between two religious communities for parking a car outside a shop in Nuh on Tuesday. The mob allegedly set fire to a motorcycle and a kiosk. Nunh Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar told The Hindu on the phone that the police immediately took action to bring the situation under control and three people have been detained in this regard.
Police said that in Mundka village on the Haryana-Rajasthan border, at around 4.30 pm, a shopkeeper and a young man who had parked the car outside his shop, became a minor argument violent, when the youths of the two communities clashed and started a scuffle.
This violence spread further and local residents of both the village communities also got involved in violence. According to local media, the local people threw stones from the roofs and threw glass bottles from the roofs, injuring many people and traffic. A press release issued by the Nunh police said, “As soon as the information was received, a team of the local police station and in -charge reached the spot. The police took the front and controlled the situation. After the assault, there was a slight interruption in the traffic, which the police took care of, which the police took care of.”
Mr. Kumar told reporters that two police companies have been deployed in the village to maintain law and order. He said that a case will be registered on the basis of the complaint of the injured.
