Now the allies of NDA have started blaming each other for the poor performance of NDA in the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra. This includes Shiv Sena, BJP and NCP. Just a day ago, Shiv Sena Shinde faction had openly said that the alliance had to suffer a huge loss due to BJP’s slogan of 400 plus. Now this conflict has started between NCP Ajit faction and BJP. Actually, BJP’s alliance with Ajit Pawar has been criticized in RSS mouthpiece Organizer. After this, NCP leader Suraj Chavan retaliated. He said that if BJP had won, the party would have given the credit to its strategy and now when it has lost, Ajit Dada is being targeted.
BJP leader Praveen Darekar also responded to this criticism of Suraj Chavan. He said that RSS is the parent organization of BJP. There is no need to comment on RSS, Suraj Chavan does not need to be hasty. BJP has not said anything to NCP. Darekar said that it would be good if these issues are discussed in the meeting of Mahayuti. Praveen Darekar has also given a warning. He said that Amol Mitkari should remain silent and Suraj Chavan should see how his sun will rise in the right direction.
Sunetra became a candidate for Rajya Sabha
On a question, Praveen Darekar said that Sunetra Pawar has been nominated by NCP for Rajya Sabha. It is the right of NCP to nominate her. It is not appropriate to comment on this. However, he further said that he knows that this decision is not Ajit Pawar’s alone. This is a collective decision.
Meanwhile, NDA leaders were absent when Sunetra Pawar filed her candidature for Rajya Sabha. Although many senior leaders of Shiv Sena and BJP were in Mumbai, no leader was present to fill Sunetra Pawar’s application form nor was Ajit Pawar present to fill the application form.
Split in NDA
Meanwhile, a picture of rift in NDA is emerging in the assembly elections. Candidates have been fielded by all three parties of NDA. In Mumbai Teachers constituency, Thackeray faction’s candidate is from Mahavikas Aghadi. Shivnath Darade from BJP, Shivajirao Nalawade from NCP and Shiv Sena has fielded Shivaji Shendge.
