New Delhi. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has once again summoned Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in a case of alleged money laundering related to the alleged land scam. ED has sent a letter to Hemant Soren and set a new deadline for his appearance. Despite previous summons, the Chief Minister is yet to appear before the agency. ED has issued a letter saying that Hemant Soren should visit the agency’s office between January 16 and 20 to record his statement in connection with the financial transactions related to the land scam. This is the eighth time that the ED has summoned the Jharkhand CM to give a statement in the ongoing investigation into financial irregularities related to the alleged land scam.
