Dehradun. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday conducted a terrestrial inspection of preparations in view of the inauguration ceremony of the 38th National Games in Dehradun. During this, he spoke to reporters.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami claimed to form a double engine government in Delhi during a media interaction in Dehradun. He said that at this time people across the country are giving priority to the governments of double engine. The people of Delhi have made up their mind to change and there will be a BJP government there. People should form a double engine government in Delhi.
CM Dhami said in response to a question asked about the update of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) that all the preparations for the UCC have been completed.
Please tell that Chief Minister Dhami is one of the star campaigners of Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party. CM is campaigning in several assembly constituencies of Delhi for the Delhi assembly elections. He is seeking votes from the public for the BJP.
Leaders of political parties had put their full emphasis to win the election of Delhi. Leaders are leaving no stone unturned to woo the public. However, there is a close fight between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi. BJP, Congress and AAP parties are claiming their victory in Delhi.
70 assembly seats in Delhi will be voted on February 5 in one phase. The results will be declared on February 8.
It may be noted that the Uttarakhand cabinet approved the rules for the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state in a meeting held on January 20 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
CM Dhami had said during a conversation with reporters after the meeting that we have fulfilled the promise we made. When we went to the public in the 2022 assembly elections under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we promised him that after the formation of the government in the state, our first step would be to implement the UCC in Uttarakhand.
