Lucknow . Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar appreciated Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and called him a ‘young Chief Minister’. He said that when older people call themselves young in age, you are of course young Chief Minister. You are the hero of eight years unmatched, UP. Describing the Mahakumbh organizing as unprecedented in the world, he said that more than 60 crore people in Mahakumbh will be remembered for centuries. This work was never done all over the world. You are the charioteer of that event. The development of UP in the last eight years is a matter of research.
The Vice President arrived to release the autobiography of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) in the capital on Thursday.
Referring to the economic progress of Uttar Pradesh, Jagdeep Dhankhar said that in eight and a half years, it is a matter of research in itself to bring the economy of 12.5 lakh crores without taxing 12.5 lakh crores without taxing. UP has made a tremendous jump in per capita income.
Praising the development of the infrastructure in the state, he said that 55 percent of the expressway of the Republic of India is with UP. There are metro in only a few countries of the world, but six cities of UP have metro rail service and it is the highest in the country. Apart from this, 16 airports, 4 international airports are in UP. The world is waiting for Jewar Airport, because jewelry is jewelry.
The Vice President praised the courage of Yogi Adityanath, saying that migrating with a challenge or to have a indifferent attitude is a sign of cowardice and there is no part of cowardice in the Chief Minister of UP, there is no need for any medical examination. He appreciated the improvement in law and order and said that the definition of UP was different eight years ago. Today law and order is at the highest level. The Chief Minister would know how many challenges may have come in installing it, but he accepted it and the result is in front of everyone today.
Emphasizing the dignity of constitutional posts, the Vice President said that there are two posts in our Constitution, the President and the Governor. These are protected, safe and supporting positions to the Constitution. Comments on such dignified positions is a matter of thinking and thinking according to me. All institutions should play their rightful role. There should be a sense of respect for our constitutional institutions. We all have our own limits. Our constitution seeks harmony with each other institutions. I respect the judiciary very much. I worked for this for 40 years. Our judges are the Best. But, I appeal that we should work unitedly with cooperation and coordination.
Describing Anandiben Patel’s autobiography as an inspiration, the Vice President said that this book is not only for Anandiben Patel, it is an inspiration for all. They like challenges, because they do not tolerate injustice. Today is Gujarat Foundation Day and Labor Day. The selection of Abdul Kalam Technical University as a place reflects India’s progress in the era of technology.
He said that the governor has always shown courage. It is very difficult to write such a book honestly. The biggest challenge is to write that ‘I like the challenge’. He described Swami Chidanand Saraswati as the cultural ambassador of India and referred to the dialogue of the Zanjeer film ‘Mere Saha Maa Hai’, referring to Anarben Patel, daughter of the governor. He said that Anarben has a mother whose strength is not less.
Dhankhar praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that it is the good fortune of the country that we have got a strong Prime Minister for the third time. He has converted challenges into opportunity. Electricity, toilets, taps, internet and health facilities are the result in every household.
He said that in crisis we should look at Vedas, Gita, Ramayana and Mahabharata, which tells us that we should never move from duty. He said on the progress of Uttar Pradesh that this province has given the country the first waterway. The first rapid rail is in UP. Bubbles of possibilities are rising here. Describing the Emergency as a black chapter of history, he said that people say that the memory of the people is short, but, have we forgotten the Emergency? The Vice President called upon everyone to discharge constitutional obligations and cooperate for the strength of democracy.
