Varanasi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath thanked Prime Minister Modi. He said that Kashi has changed a lot in 11 years. Chief Minister Yogi said during an event in Varanasi on Friday that this is the Kashi Yatra of the PM after organizing the historic victory of Haryana, Maharashtra and Delhi in Varanasi during Mahakumbh. He said that Kashi also witnessed this in the Kumbh organizing. In the last 11 years, the devotees coming from the country and the world, under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Modi, were seen to see this new Kashi and Baba Vishwanath’s land as a new collector. A scene of a devotees and devotees of Baba was also seen in Kashi on this occasion of organizing 45 days. During this time, more than three crore devotees came here and visited Baba Vishwanath’s holy Dham and became a partner of virtue.

The guidelines given by the PM towards cleanliness from the first day, by following the PM’s instructions about the vigilance towards security and after the Namami Gange project, every devotee who took a dip in the Triveni of Maa Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati was overwhelmed. Mahakumbh has succeeded today due to the success of Namami Gange project. I express my gratitude for this.
Chief Minister Yogi said that Kashi has seen himself changing in the last 11 years. This is the same Kashi who was known for her narrow streets, known for her jam. Kashi was the oldest center of education, but it was very disturbed earlier. Now connectivity in health, education and tourism sector has increased.
In the last 11 years, more than 50 thousand crores projects have come for Kashi under your leadership. Today, in Kashi, your tax lotus will be inaugurated and founded for a project of about four thousand crores. Kashi and its surrounding districts have received the most GI tags to recognize UP’s product in Kashi. UP is at number one in this case.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took a quick and tough stance, expressing serious concern over the incident of gang rape in the city a few days ago during his visit to Varanasi. As soon as he landed at Varanasi Airport, he took detailed information in the matter from the Commissioner of Police, Mandalayukta and District Magistrate.
Prime Minister Modi gave clear instructions to the officials that all the culprits of this heinous crime should be identified and strict action should be ensured against them. In addition, he insisted on making comprehensive and effective arrangements to prevent recurrence of such incidents in the future.
Please tell that in the past, a case of gang -rape of a 19 -year -old girl has come to light in Varanasi. In this case, the police have registered a case against 11 unidentified youths including 12 nominated. So far 9 accused have been arrested in this case. The search for other absconding accused is on.
