New Delhi. CM Yogi was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Smart Classes and ICT (Information and Communication) Labs in 64 block resource centers of 1086 council schools of Gorakhpur division (Deoria, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar and Maharajganj districts) on Wednesday. The ceremony also inaugurated the distribution of tablets to 14360 teachers of primary and composite schools, Wonder Boxes to 3780 co-located Anganwadi centers and 1980 assistive devices to 1207 disabled children. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the character of the individual, society and nation will be according to education. The foundation of building a strong nation rests on the hard work and efforts of teachers. Only teachers can quickly take the country to new heights.
Referring to ideal gurus like Guru Vashishtha, Vishwamitra, Sandipani, Chanakya, the Chief Minister said, their guidance was very important in creating Shri Ram, Shri Krishna and Chandragupta. Teachers should take inspiration from these ideal gurus. The greatest achievement of a teacher is when he makes his children capable and competent and inculcates in them a sense of dedication towards the nation. For this, everyone should also evaluate themselves. If a person does not evaluate his actions, it means that he is betraying himself as well as the society and the nation.

Basic Education Department is adding new decorations every day
Referring to the radical changes that have taken place in the Basic Education Department in the last six years, CM Yogi said that this department is adding new decorations every day. Every teacher needs to move forward with healthy competition between programs like Kayakalp, Smart Class. If teachers are able to promote healthy competition by associating themselves with all the programs related to the department as per the time, then we will all get better results. CM called upon teachers to evaluate their work daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annually. He said that most of the Basic Education Council schools have been covered by Operation Kayakalp. In those few places that are left, teachers can take help from public representatives, village panchayats or old students.
