Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the progress of ongoing projects related to renovation/renovation and beautification of holy Naimisharanya Dham and nearby tourist places in a high-level meeting held on Saturday. The Chief Minister gave necessary guidelines for the establishment of Ved Vigyan Kendra in Naimisharanya, setting a time limit for each project… With the aim of the overall development of Naimisharanya, the holy abode of 88 thousand sages, the state government has recently established Shri Naimisharanya Dham. Pilgrimage Development Council has been formed. This is the place where our sages did the unique work of recording the eternal knowledge. The state government is encouraging all possibilities of religious tourism development here. Every project operated here should be completed in a timely manner with quality.
For the purpose of respecting Sanatan faith and encouraging Vedic knowledge, a Ved Science Center should be established at the earliest at the holy Naimisharanya Dham in Sitapur district. Budgetary provision has also been made in this regard. With the establishment of Ved Vigyan Adhyayan Kendra, study work can be done to take the knowledge preserved in Vedas and Puranas among the common people. Administrative building, educational building, Gurukul, Yogshala, Yagyashala, temple etc. should be constructed in Ved Vigyan Kendra. An observatory should also be established here for the students of astronomy. Connect subject-experts in every process from design to operation of Ved Vigyan Kendra.
Maa Lalita Devi Temple located at Sidhauli is a great center of Sanatan faith. Devotees keep coming here throughout the year. Keeping in view the convenience of tourists/devotees, it is necessary to construct a corridor here like Vindhyavasini Dham. Prepare necessary proposal in this regard. The construction of grand entrance gate and Panchmukhi Plaza of Maa Lalita Devi temple should be completed expeditiously. After the revival of Naimishdham, the arrival of tourists/devotees from the country and the world will increase rapidly. Sitapur district will be prominently marked on the tourism map. The Government of Uttar Pradesh is working on a plan for the overall development of this place with its own resources and now the Government of India has selected Naimisharanya in Swadesh Darshan-2.
Encourage the private sector to open hotels and dharamshalas in Naimishdham. Make land available to private investors, CSR funds can also be put to good use. In Naimisharanya-Mishrikh, the main entrances and other gates of Chakratirth are being developed as corridors. All the works of the fixed project, including the construction of entrance pavilion, visitor facility center, altars for Aarti, Mahadev temple in Misrikh and development of devotee facilities in the ashram premises, should be completed by the tourism department by the coming month of September in each case.
Renovation of Sitakund located at Naimish Dham, construction works of Yatri Bhawan, tourist accommodation etc. should be completed in a time-bound manner. Heliport is also being constructed here for the convenience of tourists and devotees. The construction of the terminal building of the heliport is expected to be expedited. The tourist accommodation at Neemsar should be run on PPP mode. With this, tourists will also be facilitated and revenue collection will also be possible. Select the investor and proceed with the process as soon as possible. The trial run of electric bus service from Lucknow to Sitapur was promising. Regularize electric bus service by introducing charging stations. This will bring great convenience to the common people. Good arrangements for cleanliness, parking should be made in the entire area of Naimishdham. Tourist police should also be deployed here.
