Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while participating in the discussion on the Governor’s address in the Assembly on Wednesday, mentioned the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. Also pointed towards the temple-mosque dispute in Kashi and Mathura. He said that ‘When people saw the issue of Ayodhya, even Nandi Baba broke the barricades at night without waiting and now our Krishna Kanhaiya is not going to agree.’
Without naming anyone, the Chief Minister said that the Pandavas had asked for only five villages from the Kauravas, but for hundreds of years the faith here has been talking for only three (Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura). Yogi said in his address, ‘For centuries, Ayodhya was cursed with evil intentions and it also continued to suffer a planned contempt. Such playing with public faith and sentiments would probably not have been seen anywhere else. Injustice was done to Ayodhya.
Without naming anyone, the Chief Minister said, ‘When I talk about injustice, we also start remembering something five thousand years old. At that time, injustice was done to the Pandavas also. At that time Krishna had gone to the Kauravas and said that just give them only five grams, keep all the land as yours but Duryodhana could not give even that.
He said, ‘This is what happened with Ayodhya. Same thing happened with Kashi and same thing happened with Mathura also. The faith here is talking only for three. Also for three because they are special places. They are not normal. This is God’s land but there is a stubbornness and when this stubbornness starts getting political and politics of creating vote bank starts, then from there the situation of dispute starts to arise.
Adityanath said, ‘We have asked for only three places. There was no issue about other places. Summarizing the issues of Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura, he said, ‘When people saw the issue of Ayodhya, Nandi Baba also said why should we wait. Without waiting, they also broke the barricades at night and our Krishna Kanhaiya is not going to agree.
The Chief Minister said, ‘This is the first time that public faith has been insulted in India and the majority community has been pleading. The world is watching, this work should have been done earlier in independent India. It should have started in the year 1947 and kept pleading for that faith again and again.
Adityanath alleged, ‘Foreign invaders not only looted the wealth of this country, but also tried to stop the faith of this country. It is unfortunate that after independence, there were malicious attempts to glorify those foreign invaders for their vote bank.
He said, ‘Let us glorify those invaders, this country is no longer ready to accept it. Will not be accepted at all. Even then Duryodhana had said that without war he would not give away land even the size of the tip of a needle. The war of Mahabharata was bound to happen. What happened, the entire Kauravas were killed.
Attacking the opposition, he asked with what intention the development of Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura, the three main places of faith of Sanatan Dharma, was stopped. Referring to the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the Chief Minister said, ‘On January 22, wherever we were looking across India and the world, the same voice was coming from everywhere. It was a wonderful moment. The program of consecration of India’s pride has been completed but we were also happy that we kept our promise and built the temple there.
He said, ‘We did what we said. Whatever resolution was taken, it was also accomplished. We don’t just speak, we also do. Today, every person is overwhelmed after seeing the new, grand and divine Ayodhya. This work should have been done long ago.
