CM Yogi's big statement, said- 'One and a half crore Hindus in Bangladesh are shouting to save their identity but...'

Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday that today 1.5 crore Hindus in Bangladesh are shouting to save their identity but the so-called secularists of the world and India are silent because they are worried about their vote bank and their human sensitivity is dead. Yogi was speaking at a tribute meeting organized on ‘Partition Horror Memorial Day’ at Lok Bhavan on Wednesday. The pain of the common people was shown through a short film based on the Partition Horror.

Yogi said, ‘We all are grateful to Prime Minister Modi, who called for uncovering the dark chapters of history and making way for rectification of the mistakes.’

He alleged that the so-called ‘secularists’ encouraged the politics of divide and rule after independence. These people took power from the British but they were not leading the Indian government; rather they ran the government as the ‘Manas Putras’ (mentioned sons) of the British. Akhand Hindustan had to pay the ill-effects of that.

The Chief Minister alleged that what had never happened in any era, the greed for power of the Congress presented itself in the form of the tragedy of Partition and gave independent India such a wound whose sting India is facing even today in the form of terrorism, extremism and separatism. He said that if the then political leadership had shown firmness, no power in the world would have been able to give concrete shape to this unnatural Partition.

The Chief Minister said, ‘The revolutionaries and freedom fighters fought for independence with the resolve to overthrow the foreign rule in order to liberate the country. When the time for its completion came, this eternal nation had to face the tragedy of partition.’

He said, ‘The mistakes which are captured in front of us as a black chapter of history, the same mistakes are committed by political parties during elections. Whatever used to happen earlier in the name of casteism, the same acts are being committed today at the level of political parties. Faces and dates have changed, but the nature of events is the same.’

Yogi said that we have to overcome caste, regional and linguistic divisions and work with the spirit of nation first. Adityanath said that we have to be cautious of those forces that divide in the name of caste, region and language and think about one India, great India. The Chief Minister accused the Congress and said that the Congress is responsible for the division of the country. The Congress will not apologize to the people for this tragedy and the betrayal from time to time. Whenever the Congress got an opportunity, it tried to strangle democracy.
