Pistol coach Samaresh Jung.
After the accident in Old Rajendra Nagar, action against illegal construction has intensified in Delhi. Now preparations are being made to bulldoze hundreds of houses in the Khyber Pass area of Civil Lines in Delhi. However, the people of the area are also protesting due to the danger of bulldozing. Meanwhile, information has come to light that one of the houses on which the Delhi administration is preparing to bulldoze is also that of national pistol coach Samaresh Jung. Let us tell you that Samaresh Jung has recently returned to Delhi from Paris Olympics 2024.
48 hours to vacate the house
Just hours after returning from the Paris Olympics, Samaresh Jung got the shocking news that the house in which his family had been living for about 75 years was an illegal construction. Samaresh Jung has been given just 48 hours to vacate the house. He has said that this was a property on which we had been living for the last 75 years.
Just got a medal in Olympics
Pistol shooters have won two of India’s three medals at the Paris Olympics 2024, with Manu Bhaker winning bronze in the individual 10m air pistol and then in the mixed team category with Sarabjot Singh. Former shooter Samresh Jung earned the nickname ‘Goldfinger’ after winning seven gold, five silver and two bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games 2006 and 2010.
What did Samaresh Jung say?
Pistol coach Samaresh Jung said on the whole issue that the land and structure was leased to Mr Singh in the year 1978. Since then we have been paying rent to him. He came to know about this only an hour after reaching home from Paris. Jung said that I am not above the law and if this is what the law says then I will vacate the house. But giving a notice of two days is not the way. At least give us a few months to vacate the house. He told that he does not have another house. (input language)
