Hubli,The two -day meeting of the Central Executive Committee (CWC) of the Congress party started in Ahmedabad on Tuesday for the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar and Gujarat. The party’s election strategy and future steps are being discussed in depth in the meeting. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Jagdish Shettar lashed out at the Congress party and said that his party has no match in Gujarat.
He said that the BJP is getting stronger day by day in Gujarat and the party has been in power in the state for the last three-four decades. The BJP has implemented development works in the state effectively, due to which the trust of the people remains continuously in the party. Shettar also said that the Congress party cannot maintain its position in Gujarat firmly due to the strong organization at the BJP’s ground level. The Congress has lost its trust in Gujarat, and now the AICC conference of only two or three days in the state will not make any difference.
He said that the Congress will not get any benefit from this conference and the BJP’s hold will remain strong. The Congress party will have to take a big step to maintain its place in the state, as the BJP has continuously improved its politics and has contributed significantly to the development of the state.
Let us know that after 64 years in Gujarat, the Congress party is organizing this program. Earlier, the Congress session was held in Bhavnagar in 1961, which was the party’s first major event in Gujarat after independence. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi reached Ahmedabad at around 10.30 am today, while Priyanka Gandhi did not reach.
