Congress General Secretary Deepa Dasmunshi, while directly naming Mamata Banerjee in the case of rape and murder of a female doctor in RG Kar Medical College, said that this is not the first time such an incident has happened in Bengal.
Congress leader Deepa Dasmunshi said that since Mamata Banerjee’s government came to power, many such incidents have happened one after the other, starting with the Park Street incident. Deepa Dasmunshi called it surprising. Deepa Dasmunshi also said that the state government is silent, whereas it should have told everything to the public. She said that Mamata ji said that the CBI investigation will be done later. When all the evidence will be destroyed, what will the CBI do by going there. She held TMC goons responsible for the violence and vandalism in RG Kar Medical College and said that no one knows from where the TMC workers gathered so much wealth. A female doctor was brutally murdered in the seminar hall of Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College on the night of August 8. In this case, Kolkata Police arrested a civic volunteer named Sanjay Rai.
