Delhi. The Congress has openly supported the retaliation taken by the Indian Army on terrorist bases at Pakistan and PoK. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that the issue has been discussed in the party’s working committee and the army has full support from the Congress.
Rahul Gandhi said, “We discussed in the Working Committee. Our armies have full support. Wishing them good wishes and lots of love. He has full support from the Congress Party and the Congress Working Committee.”
At the same time, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge appreciated the action of the army and said that the whole country is proud of the Indian Army. He said, “We are proud of the Indian Army who have given a befitting reply by taking adventure and decisive action on terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK under #Operationsindoor. We salute the courage, determination and patriotism of our brave soldiers.”
Kharge further said that since the first day of the terrorist attack, the Congress party has shown solidarity with the army and the government and has supported every decisive move against the cross -border terrorism.
There is a consensus and support at the political level about this action of the army, which is leading the message that political parties are united on national security issues.
