The opposition is also raising questions on the Aam Aadmi Party regarding the gun culture in Punjab. A few days ago security agencies were given inputs to target BJP leaders in Punjab, due to which the central government has provided security to 4 leaders of Punjab. In Punjab, along with Amarjeet Singh Tikka and Balbir Singh Sidhu, two other leaders have been provided with X-category security by the Union Home Ministry. In fact, these four leaders had recently joined BJP after saying goodbye to Punjab Congress. The Ministry of Home Affairs said in a statement that this decision has been taken on the basis of the threat report of the Intelligence Bureau.
Let us tell you that these four leaders include former Punjab cabinet minister Balbir Singh Sidhu, Gurpreet Singh Kanga, former MLA Jagdeep Singh Nakai and Amarjeet Singh Tikka. Intelligence has called danger to his life. Because of which they have been given this protection. However, CRPF personnel will be deployed to protect these leaders. Let us inform that these four leaders had taken a big step in the politics of the state and left the Congress and joined the BJP. For these reasons many of his enemies have arisen. Because of which the risk of fatal attack on them has increased.
Significantly, due to the threat report of the security agency, the Ministry of Home Affairs had demanded to provide security to these leaders. On which the demand was approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Apart from this, tell that even before this, the government has given security to 5 BJP leaders of Punjab. According to the intelligence reports, there could be a fatal attack on these leaders as well, due to which this has happened. Although these leaders have been provided with Y category security. All these leaders had joined BJP along with former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. These leaders include former MP Amrik Singh, former MLA Harjinder Singh, former MLA Harchand Kaur, former MLA Prem Mittal and Kamaldeep Saini. However, so far no statement has been given by the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab in this regard.
