Sahibganj The body of a constable Surjit Yadav, near the barrack at the police line at Sahibganj district headquarters of Jharkhand, was recovered on Sunday under suspicious circumstances. He had bruises in many places on his body and a hand fracture. On this basis, it is believed that he has been murdered in a rivalry. Family members have expressed similar apprehension.
On the basis of suspicion, the police have detained three people, who are being questioned. It was told that when a policeman saw the dead body on Sunday, information was given to the senior officials and Jirwabari police station.
A post -mortem of the body has been done under the supervision of the Medical Board at Sadar Hospital. In the barrack where the body is found, a constable named Pankaj Yadav lives with his family. The police is also questioning his family members.
Surjit Yadav’s wife says that he left the house with a fellow constable on Saturday evening, but did not return at night. He received information about his death from the police in the morning. Surjeet Yadav was a resident of Gwalpada in Maheshpur police station area under Pakur district of Jharkhand. He was working in Jharkhand Police since 2011.
He had also been the bodyguard of the civil judge in the past and was posted at the Mufassil police station in Sahibganj till a few days ago. His transfer was recently a police line.
Surjeet Yadav has recently built a house in Azad Nagar of the city and recently built a house. The family has daughters in addition to wife. Sahibganj SP Amit Kumar Singh is currently on leave. In such a situation, after getting information about the incident, Godda SP Animesh Naithani reached the spot.
He inquired about this from the family of policemen and Surjit Yadav. The Jirwabari police say that the entire case will be revealed soon.
