Corona again increased in Lucknow: Seven new infected, including six -month -old girl, total number of total cases reached 50

The risk of corona infection in the capital seems to be increasing once again. On Thursday, seven new infected patients, including a six -month -old innocent girl, have appeared. With this, a total of 50 infected infected in the city has been confirmed so far. Out of these, 23 patients have returned home after recovering, while 27 active cases are still under treatment and surveillance.

The youngest infected baby girl

CMO Dr. NB Singh informed that the Korona infection has been confirmed in a six -month -old girl in Vikram Nagar, who is the youngest of the infected in the capital so far. The girl has mild symptoms and the team of doctors is constantly monitoring her.

12 -year -old girl also infected

Similarly, a 12 -year -old girl from Rahimabad region has also been found positive. Officials said samples of other family members have also been taken for examination. The process of tracing and sampling of people in contact with infected is going on fast.

5 men and 2 women are included.

45 -year -old woman from Prem Nagar, Chinhat

49 -year -old woman from Gomtinagar

26 -year -old youth of Kaiserbagh

48 and 29 -year -old men have also been found positive from the Chowk area.

All patients have mild symptoms

CMO Dr. NB Singh told that

“Symptoms of infection are very light in all new patients. There is no need to be admitted in critical condition. All are kept in home isolation or covid center under medical surveillance.”

What is the health department doing?

Contact tracing of all infected is being done.

Samples of all family members and close contacts are being taken.

Sanitization and awareness campaign is being conducted in the affected areas.

The Health Department has appealed to the people to follow the Kovid protocol, wear masks and escape the crowd.
