Noida. The Corona virus in Uttar Pradesh is once again seen gaining momentum. The number of active cases in the state has increased to 59. In the last 24 hours in Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida) alone, 19 new cases have been reported, due to which the total number of active cases in the district has now increased to 43.
At the same time, two people have died from Korona in the entire state so far. Long queues of those who investigate Korona are once again seen in the district hospitals of Noida.
District Monitoring Officer Dr. Tikam Singh informed that all the patients are being treated in home isolation and the condition of any patient is not critical.
He said that samples of Korona infected patients have been sought from private hospitals, whose genome sequencing will be sent to Delhi or Lucknow, so that it can be known which variant is currently active. Patients will be re -examined after seven days.
Meanwhile, the administration has also become alert in Prayagraj. After nearly two and a half years, the investigation of Corona sample is being started at Motilal Nehru Medical College. The Department of Microbiology of the college has demanded the RT-PCR check kit from the government.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting on 22 May in view of the cases of JN.1, the new sub-period of Kovid-19. Reviewing the current situation of Corona in the state, he said that there is no such thing as panic, but in view of the global situation, vigilance and caution are necessary.
The Chief Minister has instructed the officials to keep health services on alert mode and be prepared for any emergency. In view of the increasing cases of Corona in the state, the Health Department has become active again and appeals to the people to wear masks in crowded areas and get the symptoms checked immediately.
