Meanwhile, in countries like America, Britain and South Korea, this FLiRT variant is being attributed to Corona cases.
FLiRT is a sub-variant of the Omicron lineage. According to a media report, the new variant of Corona virus KP.2, which has been named FLiRT, is said to be a part of the old Corona variant JN.1. However, with time some new mutations and changes have been seen in it. The most dangerous thing about it is that the new variant mutation allows the virus to attack the antibodies. That is why the new variant of Corona, FLiRT, is considered more deadly. The FLiRT variant has the ability to attack the person’s body while avoiding the immunity booster doses administered during Covid. At present, the cases of this new variant are being closely monitored by the doctors of the country.
According to experts, the symptoms of people affected by this variant are almost the same as the old variant. People affected by FLiRT variant do not get taste in food, their ability to smell is reduced, for example, they cannot smell, there is cough, cold and headache along with muscle pain and fatigue. In some cases, the affected person may also have fever. Statistics of Corona cases show that 679 cases of this variant are active in India. However, according to doctors, the people of India do not need to worry about this new variant. No serious case has been reported from anywhere so far.
