New Delhi. The ICC T20 World Cup has started off on a great note. Both the host teams won the first day’s play. In the first match of the second day, Namibia displayed a tremendous bowling performance against Oman. After losing the toss, Oman’s team, batting first, could score only runs in 20 overs. The batsmen looked helpless in front of Ruben Trumpelman’s deadly bowling. Earlier in the ODI World Cup too, he has done the feat of taking a wicket on the first ball.
Namibia, which has experience of playing with big teams, restricted Oman to just runs in their first match of the ICC T20 World Cup. After winning the toss, team captain Gerhard Erasmus decided to bowl first and star bowler Trumpelman created a sensation by taking wickets on the first two balls. First Kashyap Prajapati and then captain Aaqib Ilyas were dismissed. Starting the innings with such a dangerous over, this bowler pushed the entire team on the backfoot.
