New Delhi. England fast bowler Brydon Cars has been found guilty of violating betting rules. Under this, he has been banned for 3 months from all forms of cricket. Cars placed more than 303 bets on various cricket matches between 2017 and 2019. He has accepted the charges. After which he was banned for 16 months, which includes a suspension of 13 months. Brydon Cars plays domestic cricket for Durham. 28-year-old Cars did not bet on the matches in which he was playing.
Bowling all-rounder Brydon Carse was included in the England team for the ODI World Cup held in India last year. He was included in England’s ODI World Cup team as a substitute for an injured player. He was found guilty of violation after an anti-corruption investigation by the England cricket regulator. South Africa-born Carse made his international debut in July 2021. He has played 14 ODIs and three T20 matches for England so far. He will not be able to participate in any cricket till August 28.
